Nike x GOMA Projects
Working on a series of youth workshops in collaboration with Nike London, aimed to engage young Londoners in ‘place-making’ within their own communities and encouraging an ethos of creativity and DIY participation in the urban environment. A team of us led workshops in which Nike delivery boxes were turned into scale models of playgrounds and sports grounds fit to pupils’ own communities.
As Community Strategist, I researched in-need areas based on proximity to green space, youth inactivity, and access to public sports facilities. Liaising with a number of schools and youth charities across London, I recruited students for the project, before assisting with the facilitation of workshops themselves.

Following the workshops, we hosted an exhibition showcasing the pupils’ work, hosted within ‘1948Ldn’ Nike London’s community space in Shoreditch
